What do you need today?
I was recently reading an article by Stephanie Dowrick about setting yourself up each day with the right attitude.
When you wake each morning, do so gently and while still laying there, ask yourself three questions: Who am I? What is my purpose? What do I need today?
As you can imagine, the first two seem a little deep to be contemplating upon waking but they are only as deep as you let them be. For example, who you are is more than your current set of problems.
The most important of the three questions is “What do I need today?” by thinking about this each morning, you get into a habit of thinking of your own needs first and form a more organised plan of getting things done as well as finding time in the day to do something just for yourself!
I think it’s a great way to start your day – why not give it a try?
